Enameled Matador Bull Vintage Charm 1940s
Enameled Matador Bull Charms 1940s. Matador with blue enameled shoes, pants, and “montera” (the bulbs on each side of the hat are meant to represent a bull’s horns, and the flat piece at the top of the head is similar to a bull’s eye). He wears a red jacket that matches the cape he is using to lure the bull. Bull is enameled brown with green dots and has his head down with horns pointing to charge the matador. Tiny pearls are set for their faces. Fantastic charms in quite good condition for age, with slight enamel loss to various parts of each charm. Matador measures 1 1/8″ W by 1 1/4″ T, bull measures 1 1/4″ W by 7/8″ T. These are such whimsical and rare charms —not often seen today.
